JINGZHOU QIANSHENG TEXTILE LIMITED COMPANY is located at the historical and cultural city of Jingzhou, a star city in theJianghan Plain and bordering on Wuhan. The world famous Three Gorges lies to its west and the Yangtze River to the south. The Huangyi Highway and State 107 and 318 Expressway run in the north. All these facilities, along with the sufficient resource of water and electricity, offers great convenience in transportation and communication.
QIANSHENG TEXTILE is a large-sized textile company that first established in the 1960s by the State government. It occupies an area of 370,000 square meters. After being approved as State Level 2 Enterprise in 1989, it was reconstructed in 1993 as the JINGZHOU QIANSHENG TEXTILE LIMITED COMPANY by Hubei Reconstructuring Committee. In 1997, it won the right for dealing in foreign trade.
In the last three decades or so, QIANSHENG TEXTILE has been constantly expanding on the basis of its powerful competence. Now, it owns 100,000 spindles, 2,000 sets of looms, holds more than 5000 employees and over RMB 330 million of assets. Since its initiation in 1970, its net revenue has exceeded RMB 700 million, including RMB 600 million of taxation of which the total profit accounts for RMB 265 million. This is 20 times higher than the initial investment and a notable proof for its contribution for the economic development for both the State and the local area.
Since middle 1980s, some RMB 200 million has been used in reform programs to purchase advanced spinning equipment. Now our annual output totals 18,000 tons of high, middle and low grade cotton or blended yarns, 60 million meters of fabrics or garment and industrial usage, which equal to RMB 250 million and make us one of the key textile enterprises in Hubei. The "Jingzhou Brand" cotton yarns and "Cuiliu Brand" cotton
among which 12 have been awarded ministerial and provincial "Excellent Product" prizes. It is worth mentioning that the 32c cotton yarn has won the Golden Prize of the State. Besides domestic market, they are also quite popular and competitive in countries and regions like Japan, the United States, Southeast Asia, East Europe and Middle East.
